How can Microsoft continue to inspire, educate and connect educators around the world when physical conferences aren’t an option?

The Insight

At the end of the uniquely challenging school year, educators were craving the chance to connect with one another and advance their understanding of educational technology in order to be better prepared for future learning.

The Solution

Microsoft Global Learning Week, a purpose-driven digital event that both honored and inspired educators in a fun, empowering, week-long celebration. Each daily one-hour Facebook Live stream, produced entirely remotely, featured a new Microsoft Education partner, set of topics, and the stories of educators, parents, and students from around the world.
Each live stream linked to deeper-level content and was supported by a robust social media mini-campaign.
These daily mini-campaigns leveraged Microsoft Education's hundreds of thousands of followers across Twitter and LinkedIn to feature news announcements and product demos that tied into the theme of each live stream.
