An inspirational three-day virtual event that broke down the computer-language barrier by giving uninitiated educators accessible tools to teach computer science, and inspiration to get their students excited to learn it. Promoting the importance and potential of Microsoft’s computer science learning tools— and streamed globally through YouTube Live—the event featured interviews with professionals in STEM-related fields, including a NASA astronaut, and a series of free computer science lessons from Microsoft. The lessons, designed to lighten the load for educators, included unplugged versions to ensure that every student had an equitable opportunity to participate.
